Hello, everyone!

On that Friday our group went to the forum that took place in our Linguistic University. The main purpose of it was language policy and other aspects of linguistics.

Many representatives of different spheres were talking about language security in our country.

Actually, it was pretty hard for me to understand deeply what they were talking about,but some of speakers gave a good speech.

For instance, the man, who gave his speech first, talked about Russian language traditions and cultural specificities. We should thing about our culture and save it. This message was kind of interesting for me, because I usually don’t think about it.

Probably the main point of this forum was to give and idea of strengthening the safety of our language, not to mix it with new trends or slangs that come from other countries. I cannot be 100% sure whether I’m agree with this position. But it has right to exist.
