So, I had a topic about sports and especially about Olympic Games.

When I was visiting the official website of Sochi 2014. I just read some information about different athletes and nothing special for me.

But then I run into one article about interesting facts of 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

  1. It was the most expensive Olympics in the whole history of Olympics. It costed more than $50 billion.
  2. 88 countries took part in total.
  3. The most largest countries sent a lot of athletes. For example, Russia sent 225 athletes, Canada- 200 and the USA-230.
  4. The mascots of Olympic Games were chosen by the Russian people.

5. The athletes who won the Olympic gold on the 15th of February got special medals with pieces of the meteorite which had fallen in Chelyabinsk on the 15th of February in 2013.

Thank you!
