Hey! こにちゔぁ! I just got bored of saying “hello” all the time and maybe wanted to show off my Japanese since along with the Memrise and Reading marathon, I actually took up a Japanese course on Duolingo! Finally! But this post is not about it.:)

Since, it’s already been 15 days of my marathon, I can definitely say I love it! Not only did I started learning these new words, but I also started recognizing them, noticing them in various texts and speeches.

Let me share with you some new pretty difficult words:

  • bucolic — rural, rustic, pastoral
  • confound — bewilder, dumbfound, perplex, bemuse (to confuse and very much surprise someone, so that they are unable to explain or deal with a situation)
  • denigrate — scorn, scoff, disdain, disparage, to critisize and humiliate sb unfairly (to say that someone or something is not good or important)
  • detractor — opponent, foe, adversary
  • fealty — fidelity, adherence, allegiance, loyalty

And here are the screenshots with my results:
