The Quote
“As soon as you find yourself, you will never starve”-Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games
Hello, everyone! It’s time to share my thoughts with you.
We were to choose the quote from one of our group mates’ books.
As soon as I’ve read this quote, it caught my attention. I started thinking what it is about.
At first, it seemed to be about personal achievement or finding your own way, which, as a result, would give you a mental feeling of satisfaction. I’m sure that our inner balance and inside harmony depend on our choices in life, our preferences for more than 50 percent. Definitely, we can’t be sure about our decisions, but our efforts and endless tries will undoubtedly show our way. I understood starving as a desperate wish to discover more and get acquainted with more items until you find yourself.
However, then I saw the other side of this theme. Starving can be understood literally as a physical desire to eat. So, that means that when you find your own place or your route, there will be no room for needs and problems with food and etc, because any way you will be able to provide yourself with money for food and other necessities. It’s a common believe that as soon as you find something that is close to your heart and mind, you become a person who is happy to live the way he lives and he loves his life the way it is.
I guess, both sides of understanding these words are possible, but probably each person sees something that is more relevant for him at a certain moment or step in his life. I’m sure that if you still haven’t found something that tugs you at the heartstrings, it’s waiting for you somewhere down the line.
Thank you! Wish you all the best and the positive energy that comes from this sun ☀️
