What every American should know
Studying the American version of English makes us partly Americans. So, today pretending to be American I checked the site where I went through 100 points of the facts or things every American should know. It’s really great that we are not only studying language but also diving into the depth of American culture. That’s how I realised that my knowledge is so narrow unfortunately. Because among 100 facts I found so many I knew but couldn’t explain.

And here is the list of items that I don’t yet know at all and I hope I’ll understand one day:
- Law
- World War II
- Taxes in America
- Amendments
- Respect
- Black history
- World War I
- American Revolution
- Branches of government
- United States Constitution
- Politics
- The Trail of Tears
- Voting rights in the United States
- Rosa Parks
- Manifest Destiny
- Voting Rights Act of 1965
- Japanese-American Internment
- Brown v. Board of Education
- Pledge of Allegiance
